Telawaa: See The Blunder You Often Commit!


On TELAWAA( The English Language Academy With Ayo Alonge), we would be looking at a blunder.



Many people, especially school teachers and bosses at workplaces, would say "round up", when they mean to tell you to bring an activity to a close.

But then, that's a big blunder, if I must say.

You actually "round off".

NB: To "round up" is to arrest or bring some to judgement.

Example:
You all need to round OFF now, because your time is almost up (not "round up").
