He was born on March 23rd in Sokoto State and hails from Kano State.
He attended Ramat Nursery and Primary School and Army Day Secondary School, Bukavu Barracks, Kano State. He studied at Kaduna State College of Education with a Diploma in Accounting and Auditing.
Joe El got signed under Kennis Music in 2010 and released his debut single titled, "l No Mind" which enjoyed massive airplay.
He has gone ahead to release other smashed hit singles still rocking airwaves.
