Someone tweeted:
"The reality is that the present bogus population of Ekiti public service can't be sustained..."
Now, the headache I have with that word "bogus" is that most people have always abused its usage.
NB:
That word doesn't mean "big", "very large", "enormous" or "gigantic".
No! Not all! Never! Far from it!
The word "bogus" actually means "fake", "unreal", "untrue", "not genuine".
e.g. We need to hire an external auditor to audit the bogus statement of account the company's accountant presented to the management.
