He attended LA Primary School, Oja Titun, lbokun, Obokun Local Government and lfeoluwa Grammar School, Osogbo, Osun State.
He proceeded to the prestigious University of Lagos for a Bachelor of Science degree in Insurance in 1978. He also bagged a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in 1990 from University of Lagos, Akoka, Yaba, Lagos.
He did his mandatory one year National Youth Service between 1978 and 1979, at Potiskum, in present day Yobe State, where he lectured at the Staff Training Centre.
In 1980, he joined the Leadway Assurance Company Limited as an Area Manager and worked there till 1987.
He worked as Underwriting Manager at Crusader lnsurance Company Limited between 1987 and 1990, from where he moved to Alliance and General lnsurance as Technical Controller and served in that capacity till 1991.

An in-built entrepreneurial zeal came to fore when he established Silvertrust lnsurance Brokers Limited in 1991.
He was a very innovative pioneering Managing Director leaving to take up appointment as the Chief of Staff to the State of Osun in 2011.
He is happily married to Kafayat Oyetola and their union is blessed with lovely children.
