Be humble in Victory, Humane in Jubilation- Senator Elect, Dr Ajibola Bashiru

ln his congratulatory remark, Senator-elect for Osun Central Senatorial District, Dr Ajibola Basiru, has described his victory at the poll as a triumph of simplicity over elegance and success for everybody who has contributed to his outing at the poll.

In a statement from his Media Office, Dr Basiru thanked all his supporters across Osun Central and particularly Osogbo for standing by him through thick and thin.

Addressing a jubilant crowd that thronged his residence upon the announcement of his victory by INEC,Dr Basiru who radiated joy and appreciation commended his campaign organization ABCO for a job well done saying the results are worth the efforts.

The senator elect was full of praise to APC leaders in the state and Osun general as well as members of the party in the Senatorial district for ensuring his victory at the poll.

The former Osun Chief law officer appreciated Osogbo Elders caucus particularly Pa Hammeed Omidiran Pa Wale Lasisi Prince Adeleke Oduola,the elite, religious bodies,marker men and women, artisans, various groups and societies,market men and women for standing solidly behind him while the struggle lasted.

He used the occasion to appeal to the electorates to complete the victory for APC in the House of Assembly election coming up in a couple of days.

Dr Ajibola Basiru however advised his teeming supporters to be humble in victory and humane in Jubilation as the victory is for all.
