INEC Declares PDP Candidate, Hon. Bamidele Salaam Winner of Ede/Egbedore/Ejigbo Federal Constituency

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), has declared the results of the keenly contested election in which Hon. Bamidele Salaam of the PDP polled 46,944 to defeat the APC candidate who polled 44,866.

Hon. Bamidele Salaam contested on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) against the former Speaker of the Osun State House of Assembly, Mr Adejare Bello who contested on the platform of All Progressive Congress (APC).

Hon. Bamidele Salaam was a renowned journalist with Osun State Broadcasting Corporations (OSBC). He also served as Special Adviser on Media to former Governor of Osun State, Olagunsoye Oyinlola before he was elected as the Chairman of Egbedore Local Government of Osun state.
